As part of a programme of celebrations to mark this occasion, Architects' Company members are invited to a viewing of Art & Ornament, an exhibition of current practice, celebrating the life work of Grinling Gibbons.

There will also be a premiere reading of A Linden Antiphon by Paul Munden with ArchiCantiores’ recording of it's commissioned setting by Alex Woolf.

Jonathan Louth, Advisor to The Grinling Gibbons Society Modern Legacy Project, will introduce a programme of ideas for a collaboration between the maker guilds and the construction professions who comprise over half of the modern City Livery Companies; the programme will extend Grinling Gibbons Society’s national tercentenary festival into a future multidisciplinary urban project, honouring the legacy that Gibbons imparted to the nation.

This event will take place at St Mary Abchurch, Abchurch Lane EC4N 7BA on Monday, 2nd August 6 - 8pm.

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
